They specialize in complex divorce and custody cases, business asset division, and collaborative divorce solutions. Their approach is grounded in professionalism, clarity, and protecting families through difficult transitions.
📊 Tools Used
I used Wix to build the website, Google Analytics and Tag Manager for performance tracking, and SEMrush for keyword insights. ChatGPT helped me brainstorm page copy, and Clio was integrated to support lead management. These tools made it easier to maintain a consistent, data-informed approach throughout the project.

🔗 Project Goals
The main goal was to build a clean, professional, and informative website that would establish credibility and make it easier for potential clients to reach out. We also aimed to simplify legal content for the everyday visitor, enhance SEO, and create a strong first impression in a competitive legal market.
⚡️ Challenges Faced
The firm operates in a saturated legal market, so standing out was essential. One of the main challenges was simplifying complex legal services into digestible content without losing the nuance. Another challenge was making the site feel personal yet professional—a tone that builds trust without overwhelming users. We also had to organize a wide variety of services into a clear, navigable structure.
⚖️ Process
We began by identifying the firm’s strengths, audience, and tone of voice. I researched competitors in the Houston area and looked at how they structured their content and branding. With this research, I was able to sketch out a strategy that highlighted the firm’s compassionate approach and legal expertise.
From there, I moved into low-fidelity wireframing to plan out the site structure and user flow. This helped me visualize how someone would explore the site—from landing on the homepage to submitting a contact form. Once approved, I transitioned to the visual design phase, choosing a muted, neutral palette with clean typography to evoke professionalism and calm.
The site was built entirely in Wix and included 05-10 pages. Each page was structured for readability, especially on mobile devices, with content blocks, headers, and strong calls-to-action. Key content like contact buttons and FAQs were strategically placed for quick access.
I also handled basic SEO work by optimizing meta descriptions, some HTML structure, and adding alt text. I set up Google Analytics and Tag Manager for tracking, and integrated the site with platforms like Clio and SEMrush to support marketing performance and ongoing maintenance.
🚀 Results & Impact
The final result was a polished, responsive website that gave the firm a strong digital foundation. The client appreciated the clean design and how easily clients could navigate the site. The site helped establish credibility and gave the team new tools to understand their audience better. With tracking and SEO in place, they’re now positioned to grow their online presence over time.
🤔 Reflection
This was a valuable learning experience for me. Working with a law firm taught me how to balance legal accuracy with good UX. I also learned how to structure long-form content in a way that feels light and approachable. The collaboration process helped me grow in both communication and technical execution. As I continue in my UX career, I see even more ways to improve accessibility, SEO, and visual clarity—and I’m excited to apply those lessons moving forward.
